What is a spray boom thread?
The spray boom segment is nothing more than the boom parts. An 18-meter bus is separated into segments, to facilitate sprayer handling and inspection and replacement. The joining of the segments allows the bus to bend, giving it the appearance of a Grasshopper.
Normally a bus has 1 to 4 segments separated on the left and right sides. Therefore, when budgeting for a bus, the customer may have the option of purchasing only 1 side, and only the segment that requires replacement.
A practical example to make understanding easier, a farmer is spraying his soybean crop with a sprayer with a 24-meter boom and noticed that there is a problem when spraying, that is, with the boom. He carries out the inspection with a mechanic and identifies the need to replace segment 2, on the left side.
