1.But why use Bar Sprayers?

We know that the Brazilian agricultural activity is driven by the production of crops in large tracts of land, mainly the cultivation of soybeans and corn in several regions. However, its large-scale cultivation enhances the emergence of diseases, pests and weeds. Because of this, spray applications are required throughout the season to maintain control.
Spraying is one of the most important steps in crop production. Furthermore, it needs to be done well between the planting and harvesting process.
For the sprayings to be efficient, it is necessary to choose the sprayers that best suit the needs of each rural producer.
The boom sprayer is the most widely used type of sprayer today, where the application of chemical products is made through a variable length boom, with the presence of several nozzles.
Chemical products, on the other hand, are sold in a concentrated manner, so it is necessary to dilute the amount of agrochemical to be used in water, then the Sprayers enter, they distribute a liquid substance in tiny particles evenly in the correct amount and in necessary places on the the plantation.

1.1 Care with agricultural bars

With all of that, sprayer bars need special care.
Therefore, care starts from the choice of raw material for production to the form of use in machinery.
In other words, the manufacturing process needs to be carried out with the best technologies, with trained teams, operating CNC machines, thus ensuring quality and durability.
After the production process, the agricultural sprayer bars need packaging to guarantee the permanence of quality.
Also aiming at the arrival of the products to the customer in perfect conditions, packaging is a primordial point in transportation, avoiding problems such as scratches, dents and the creation of moisture. Finally, upon arrival at the customer, the entire care process is maintained, precisely to ensure greater durability in the use processes.

It is noteworthy that with the emergence of so many technologies, producers needed to adapt to the changes to ensure:

• Efficient operation of the bars;
• Avoid failures in the application range;
• Reduction of run-off or dripping;
• Proper use of water;
• Appropriate spray tips for each activity;
• Dosage of products in order to avoid toxicity and soil contamination;
• Ideal weather conditions for spraying;
• Minimal overlaps.

Therefore, some basic procedures must be taken before spraying so that spraying is more efficient and more economical:

1. Check the ideal weather conditions (temperature between 20-30°C, humidity 70-90% and wind speed of 3-10 km/h);
2. Use proper PPE;
3. Use the proper product and correct dose;
4. Use good quality water;
5. Determine of the bar (usually 1m from the ground to the bar);
6. Determine distance between nozzles;
7. Determine optimal working speed;
8. Check storage tank and clean if necessary;
9. Check agitator mechanism;
10. Look at filters (line, nozzles, bar), clean them and change them if necessary;
11. Check pressurization of the entire system, if there are leaks;
12. Check hoses and couplings;
13. Check spray boom and sections for leaks;
14. Check nozzles and filters (clean when necessary);
15. Check working pressure for each nozzle set to be used;
16. Check pressure and then close the gauge during application.
